openESEA

Ethical, social and environmental accounting (ESEA) is the process of assessing the performance of organisations on the ethical, social and environmental (ESE) topics and indicators. Examples of ESE topics are the percentage of women in management, annual electricity consumption, and tons of CO$_2$ equivalents. ESEA is typically performed by collecting data, calculating meaningful indicators, and reporting on the results. There is a multitude of methods that guide ESEA.

We propose openESEA, a model-driven tool that can support all ESEA methods. Think of methods such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, the B Impact Assessment (B Corp), ISO14001, ECG’s Common Good Balance Sheet and many more.
